Lombok, Indonesia is sometimes described as Bali’s beautiful Sister, or Bali’s quieter cousin, either way, Lombok is a place you should add to your Indonesian itinerary.
Quieter than Bali, Lombok is easily reached and has much to offer anyone looking for a more off-the-beaten-track destination. Trekking Mount Rinjani (Indonesia’s second biggest Volcano), chasing waterfalls at Tiu Kelep and Sindang Gila, visiting Pink Beach or learning to surf in Kuta, oh yes there are plenty of things to do in Lombok. Let Feet Do Travel take you on a journey from North Lombok to South Lombok, where we will show you cool and traditional things to do. You will then see for yourself why Lombok should be added to your travel list and Indonesian itinerary. These are the 12 best things to do in Lombok (but there are many more!). Ocean lovers around the world must do one thing and one thing only before they die: plan a trip to the Philippines. This island-chain country in Southeast Asia has over 7,000 islands and small islets to its name. If we’re being completely honest with you, spending 10 days here isn’t nearly enough. Unfortunately, life often gets in the way and 10 to 14 days is all that can be spared for vacation.
You could actually spend years here exploring all of the islands. Heck, you could spend an entire lifetime - and that still wouldn’t be enough! But for the sake of all you workin’ folk out there hoping to experience the Philippines in the 10 days you can afford, follow this itinerary to make the most of your time. The three Filipino destinations focused on in this itinerary will take you from the capital city of Manila to the stunning island of Palawan to the cultural mecca of Cebu. If you have chosen Cambodia as your next holiday destination, you certainly wouldn’t be alone as this unique country has enjoyed booming tourist numbers. Prior to arriving in Cambodia, here are few important things you should know in order to make the most out of your holiday.
We really enjoyed Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s crazy capital. The majority of the country’s visitors skip Phnom Penh and head straight to the Angkor Wat temples in Siem Reap. I personally feel this is a shame.
Motorcycles whizzing by, tuk-tuk drivers constantly hassling, the noise and dust that comes with any Capital around the world, what is there to like about Phnom Penh, and how can two Country lovers like such a frantic City? Cambodia is a country ravaged by conflict and war. A violent history of genocide, so disturbing the older generation are trying desperately to forget their past. However, the Kingdom of Cambodia is becoming one of Asia’s leading travel destinations, and at its heart is Phnom Penh, which has its own historical story to tell. Phnom Penh is teaming with things to do, and is so much more than the S21 Prison, Killing Fields or Royal Palace. The food, culture and of course it’s troubled past all contribute towards making Phnom Penh and Cambodia a fascinating place to visit. We say don’t skip Phnom Penh, and let Feet Do Travel show you 25 things to do in Cambodia’s capital.
Siem Reap, Cambodia: the land of Temples and 50c beers, what is there not to love?
Tourists flock in their millions each year to see historic Angkor Wat, but there are so many others things to do in Siem Reap. Don’t be a temple hopping tourist without exploring more of this historic City. There are many places to eat and drink, museums to visit, Siem Reap is brimming with culture and local crafts and has a lot more to offer than just beautiful temples. Siem Reap plays an important part in the history of Cambodia. A story dating back thousands of years, a turbulent past where peace only returned 13 years ago. I personally feel visitors to Cambodia need to hear the plight of its people, in order to truly understand the Country. Let Feet Do Travel show you the many things to do in Siem Reap. This is your ultimate travel guide to Siem Reap. (Don't worry, temples are also included!)

How would you describe Street Art? Is it graffiti on a train, spray painting on the side of a building, maybe a wall mural.
What is YOUR definition of Street Art? I believe street art to be any form of expression in a public place, but it’s only living in Moalboal, Cebu, Philippines that made me question my view of street art. Outside of Manilla, Street Art per se doesn’t appear to exist in the Philippines. Manilla has the Filipino Street Art Project, a paradise for art lovers, and renowned Filipino street artists have filled the City with colour. As a mural art lover and no street art in Moalboal, how was I to get my “fix”? When asking myself this question, a colourfully painted Jeepney drove past me, and suddenly I found my street art! Jeepneys are a cheap form of public transport in the Philippines, and no two are the same – what an original way for me to search for street art in Moalboal and Cebu! Feet Do Travel show you off the wall street art in Cebu, unique expressions of art in the Philippines.
Montpellier Falls, Alegria and Mainit Natural Hot Springs, Malabuyoc are two off the beaten track activities, where you will find no other tourists. Located in a quiet place south of Moalboal, visiting these two natural wonders is a true jungle experience
Cebu, Philippines may be famous for the sardine run in Moalboal and canyoneering at Kawasan, but it also has many beautiful places to visit. Feet Do Travel will show you how to get to Montpellier Falls and how to get to Mainit Hot Springs. An easy day trip from Moalboal, are you ready to discover two secrets of Cebu?
The Sardine Run in Moalboal, Cebu, Philippines is better than South Africa. Whoa! Now that is a bold statement to make – what can possibly be better than seeing billions of sardines?
The (almost) guaranteed sighting of millions of sardines every single day of the year is the answer. The Sardine Run in Moalboal is a year round natural phenomenon. It’s completely ethical - they are not fed by humans and are marine protected. As filter feeders, they stay close to the surface which means you can snorkel the sardines by walking out from the shore at Panagsama Beach. Nothing can prepare you that first glimpse; a giant sardine ball so thick it blocks out the sun. If you are a scuba diver because you love seeing fish, Moalboal is the place to add to your bucket list. But does it live up to the hype? Will it meet expectations? Feet Do Travel show you their experience of swimming with millions of sardines in the Philippines, at the Sardine Run Moalboal, Cebu. |
