Not everybody loves the hot weather. If you want to have a winter break, this guide can help. Choosing your destination is important. You don’t want to get caught up in the middle of a storm or spend your vacation in a destination with ideal temperatures yet nothing to do. So, where should you go for the best winter vacations in Asia?
Jeju, Korean

One of the best things about Jeju is the fact that there are so many different things to enjoy. From mandarin picking to snow-trekking; there is something for all types of people to enjoy. In terms of weather, Korea has experienced one of the harshest winters in recent years. However, Jeju is ideal for those who want a pleasant experience. You can stay away from the bitter cold of Korea whilst also getting away from the blistering heat in other parts of Asia. This is why Jeju is a perfect winter destination; it offers the ideal balance. If you are someone who likes a bit of adventure then you should definitely consider climbing the dormant volcano Mt. Hallasan. This is a magical experience because the mountain is practically visible from almost everywhere on the island.

Niseko, Japan

This Japan destination is one of the most popular ski resorts in Asia. It boasts a beautiful coating of light powder snow during the winter months. No matter whether you have tried skiing before or not, you should definitely consider taking a trip to Niseko. Skiing is a sport that can be enjoyed by all as you can go at your own pace. You can take your winter vacation with Guest Reservations if you want to go skiing yet you’re not sold on doing it in Asia. Nevertheless, this is not the only reason why you should visit Niseko. The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else you will have experienced and the sights you will witness are breath-taking, to say the least.

Last but not least we have the fun-filled destination of Beijing. Make sure your pack your woolen jumpers! Nevertheless, there are so many reasons why you should consider taking a trip to Beijing. If you get your timing right you can enjoy a bit of ice scooting or ice skating across the frozen lakes in the parks of Beijing. This is a unique experience to say the very least. There is also a wealth of fantastic museums to explore in the area. From the Beijing Planning Museum, to the Beijing Capital Museum, to the Military Museum; you won’t be short of options.

Of course, the three destinations mentioned are a small selection of some of the best winter destinations in Asia. You don’t have to have a sunshine break in this part of the world.
